I just got this this morning. It’s the cover for my June 2011 anthology with Jamie Denton and Lucy Monroe. What do you think?
I don’t have the “official” back cover blurb for my story yet, but here’s my version:
ACAPULCO HEAT

Hmm…I’m not a fan of it. I see you are sharing the book with others and the cover can’t be specific to your story, but it has a “Desparate Housewives” feel to it for me.
And it’s unrealistic that one would have a bra wrapped around their toes while lying face down on a bed. Would have been cooler to see a trail of clothes, guns, badges leading to a bed, in the dark with just feet/legs showing at the end of the trail….I’m just saying… 😉

I think the cover looks good for just having legs =) Normally I go for beef cakes on the cover but the gun got my attention. I normally read paranormal but this book sounds really good. Is this a stand alone or should people read the first book you wrote before this one?

I think the cover works for the time, spring/summer release. It definitely looks like a beach or poolside read.

Kind of a lot of white. The stories sound great. I wish there was a dishy guy, or some hint of a dishy guy.

Tanya, it’s an anthology, so there are three stories in this book, each written by a different author. My story – Acapulco Heat – is a stand alone, meaning you don’t have to read STOLEN HEAT first to know what’s happening. But Lauren (heroine in this anthology) does show up STOLEN HEAT so those of you who read that will recognize her.
This novella was super fun to write. I really enjoyed it. While (as you all know) I love paranormals, a fast-paced love-on-the-run story can be just as exciting.

Love it Elisabeth. It’s simple & sexy & a nice change from 2 people in a clinch. The Stolen series remains one of my faves & it’ll be nice to revisit one of the characters.
