ANGEL IN HIS ARMS

Taking Isla captive, Hayden hopes to avenge his kinsmen who died by Druid magic. But when he looks into Isla’s eyes, he sees the secrets of her past. When he touches her skin, he feels the passion in her soul. And soon Hayden comes to realize that this beautiful, beguiling woman is not his enemy at all—she is his destiny. Pre-Ceaser (that name just invokes such deep hatred in me) when the druids were plenty and practiced their craft.

To Scotland for sure! The castles … the highlanders … the beautiful countryside … the sexy brogue … oh my! I have always loved any highlander/scottish slant in any story.

Whenever I’m asked this question I always respond the same – now. I wouldn’t travel back in time because I’m spoiled rotten and have a real “thing” for flushing toilets 😉

It’s hard to narrow it down. Medieval Scotland, during a peaceful interlude, would be one of the time periods I’d like to visit. 🙂

I forgot to answer the question. If I could travel back in time, I’d go to Victorian times – it’s far enough back that it would be interesting, but there were more modern conveniences than in earlier times.

I would want to travel back to Scotland 1500s! I’m sure it would be very dangerous and I would miss my modern comforts but it would be quite an experience to see how people lived and meet a real live highlander.

The 20s! That is when the times truly started to change. Woman wore shorter dresses, and cut their hair real short. Prohibition and jazz were all the rage. It would have been a great time.

While I love to read about Scottish Highlanders, I don’t think I’d want to live under all the horrible interdictions they had to endure, so I’ll go with the late 1800’s and the American West.
