Win HOPING FOR LOVE

My next guest is…

Bestselling Author Marie Force!

Marie Force is the bestselling and award-winning author of the McCarthys of Gansett Island Series, the Treading Water Trilogy and the Fatal Series from Harlequin’s Carina Press. In its July 2010 issue, RT Book Reviews named Marie a “Future Star of Romantic Suspense.” She is a member of RWA’s New England and Published Author Special Interest Chapters. While her husband was in the Navy, Marie lived in Spain, Maryland and Florida, and she is now settled in her home state of Rhode Island. She is the mother of two teenagers and two feisty dogs, Brandy and Louie.

Marie’s latest release is HOPING FOR LOVE:

All her life, Grace Ryan was the “fat girl.” Taunted and teased and ignored by her peers, she tried every diet ever invented to no avail. Desperate to change her life as her twenties slipped away, she decided it was time for drastic measures and had lap-band surgery. More than a year later, she’s lost 130 pounds and is venturing into the dating world for the first time. During a boat trip to Gansett Island with the new guy in her life, Grace refuses to have sex with him and finds herself abandoned without a dollar to her name at McCarthy’s Gansett Island Marina.

At home for the summer awaiting the launch of his debut CD, music star-in-the-making Evan McCarthy is performing at the Tiki Bar when he notices Grace looking lost in a sea of happy people. Evan comes to her aid and quickly finds himself smitten. But the last thing Grace needs after all she’s been through is a guy who “doesn’t do relationships.” Will Evan change his ways to win Grace’s heart?

“Another solid entry into the McCarthy’s of Gansett Island series. Marie Force continues to create characters that readers can identify with and make you want to visit fictional Gansett Island and its residents.”
—Night Owl Reviews

I love the setting for Marie’s McCarthy’s of Gansett Island series. Since I’m a beach bum at heart, answer this question to be entered to win a copy of HOPING FOR LOVE:

If you could visit any beach in the world, where would you go?

If you could visit any beach in the world, where would you go? Beaches in California, Florida or Hawaii. I see the the beaches that Kim from SOS Aloha shows.

I love Hawai’ian beaches, but I’d also want to go visit the beaches in other tropical areas (Bahamas, Jamaica, etc.).

Since i am not much of a travelor these day i would go for Florida or California. I live in MI in the thumb where i am surrounded by Lake Huron and beaches on three sides. Last year after growing up around here i finally started actually going to the beach. Great place to relax and read.

I have been to beaches on the east and west coast. I have also been to a few of Florida’s beaches and Louisiana beaches. I have never been to Hawaii, Cancun, or Belize. So I would have to say one of them.

Any beach… I would have to say the Seychelles. It always looks beautiful in photos and it the secluded / private getaway for so many (recently the Prince William and Katherine). Or I would like to go to Necker Island (owned by Sir Richard Branson).

I am always upstream, I would love to go to the beach where some scenes of Twilight was filmed. I am not the sun’s biggest fan so all I am looking for in a beach is beauty. Also I would like to visit the scotish beaches, it has to be breathtaking with the fog rolling in from the ocean.
